Remove output shaft (13) from rear cover (8).
NOTE
Note position of groove in bearing. Groove in bearing faces toward yoke end of shaft.

Position output shaft (13) in press.

Remove bearing (14), speed sensor gear (15) and speedometer drive gear (16) from output shaft (13).

Remove output shaft (13) from press.
NOTE
Perform Step (11) only if orifice plug is damaged.

Inspect orifice plug (17) and remove from output shaft (13).
(12)
Position rear cover (8) in press with yoke side down.
