wire 1020B (114) from terminal (115) of
regulator (116). Discard locknut.

Remove nut (76), lockwasher (117), washer
(118), screw (77) and washer (119) from
alternator (86) and alternator mounting
bracket (78). Discard lockwasher.
Alternator weighs 75 lbs (34 kg).
Use the aid of an assistant to
prevent possible injury to
personnel.
(51)
With the aid of an assistant, install lifting
device onto alternator and remove alternator
(86) from alternator mounting bracket (78).
(52)
Remove lifting device from alternator (86).
