Strap, Tie Down (Item 84, Appendix I)

Wrench, 1-1/8 in. (Item 54, Appendix J)

Equipment Condition

Wrench, Torque (0 to 175 lb-ft [0-237 N.m])

Wheels chocked, (Para 2-20)

Brakes caged, (Para 2-16)

Template, Slack Adjuster (Appendix F)

Air system drained, (Para 2-21)

Removal.

NOTE

Each axle has two slack adjusters.

Remove cotter pins (1) and (2), pin (3) and pin (4) from clevis (5). Discard cotter pins.
