13.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) to UNLOAD and hold while hook arm rises and moves the BAP to the rear.
14.
Release joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) when hook arm completes its full movement rearward.
15.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 12) to OFF position.
NOTE
Dashboard parking brake indicator will go out when PARKING BRAKE control is released.
16.
Push in parking brake control (Figure 5, Item 7) and apply service brake pedal (Figure 5, Item 5).
17.
Turn LHS MODE SELECT switch (Figure 5, Item 11) to MAN MAIN FRAME.
18.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 12) to ON position.
19.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) to UNLOAD and hold until back edge of the BAP touches the ground.
20.
Immediately release service brake pedal (Figure 5, Item 5).
21.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) to UNLOAD and continue unloading while allowing vehicle to roll forward.
22.
Release joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) when front end of the BAP is about 1 ft. (30 cm) off the ground.
23.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 12) to OFF position.
24.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) to UNLOAD and continue unloading until the BAP rests on the ground and
weight of load is off LHS lifting hook.
25.
Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 5, Item 7).
26.
Remove lockpin (Figure 5, Item 14), pin (Figure 5, Item 15), and bail bar lock (Figure 5, Item 16) from LHS
lifting hook (Figure 5, Item 17).
27.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) to UNLOAD.
28.
Release joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) when LHS lifting hook (Figure 5, Item 17) is slightly below BAP bail bar
(Figure 5, Item 18).
29.
Push in PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 5, Item 7).
30.
Set transmission range selector (Figure 5, Item 6) to D (drive).
31.
Drive vehicle forward slowly about 6 in. (15 cm) and stop vehicle.
32.
Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 5, Item 7).
33.
Set transmission range selector (Figure 5, Item 6) to N (neutral).
34.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 12) to ON position.
35.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) to LOAD, release when main frame has stopped moving.
36.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 12) to OFF position.
37.
Turn LHS MODE SELECT switch (Figure 5, Item 11) to MAN HOOK ARM.
38.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 5, Item 12) to ON position.
39.
Move joystick (Figure 5, Item 13) to LOAD.
