To move and lower hook arm to stowed position, move joystick (Figure 3, Item 11) to LOAD and hold.
WARNING
When NO TRANSIT indicator is illuminated, vehicle may be maneuvered in the immediate
vicinity of the loading/unloading site. However, vehicle is unsafe for road travel. Do not
perform open-road driving when NO TRANSIT indicator is illuminated. Failure to comply may
result in serious injury or death to personnel and damage to equipment.
35.
Release joystick (Figure 3, Item 11) when hook arm is fully stowed and NO TRANSIT indicator (Figure 3, Item
17) light goes out.
36.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 3, Item 10) to OFF position.
37.
Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 3, Item 4).
CAUTION
While maneuvering vehicle in the immediate vicinity of the loading or unloading site, LHS
MODE SELECT switch may be in any setting. However, LHS MODE SELECT switch must
be set to OFF prior to road travel. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
38.
Turn LHS MODE SELECT switch (Figure 3, Item 9) to OFF.
39.
Set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 3, Item 7) to OFF position. Indicator light (Figure 3, Item 8) will go out.
40.
Ensure both BAP hold-down locks (Figure 4, Item 3) are in auto engage position (handles are pushed in).
