Ensure BAP hold-down locks (Figure 2, Item 3) are in auto engage position (handle pushed in).

Back up vehicle so that at least 5 ft. (1.5 m) of clearance is available behind vehicle for loading the BAP. Refer
to TM 9-2320-425-10 or TM 9-2320-435-10.
NOTE
Dashboard parking brake indicator will illuminate when PARKING BRAKE control is applied.
6.
Pull out PARKING BRAKE control (Figure 3, Item 4) or apply service brake pedal (Figure 3, Item 5).
