TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
SYMPTOM
Winch Assembly will not Lift Load or Operates Slowly.
MALFUNCTION
Cable will not Lift Load or Operates Slowly.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Perform the following check by operating vehicle/winch with a load in place.
1.
With load attached to hook on winch cable, set BAP winch switch on remote control unit to IN.
(WP 0004)
2.
Operate winch to raise load. (WP 0004)
a.
If cable raises load normally, no fault at this time.
b.
If cable will not lift the load or operates slowly, proceed to next Malfunction.
MALFUNCTION
Winch Cable is Obstructed.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Check for any binding of or obstructions to winch cable (Figure 1). (WP 0035)
