WARNING
Check for overhead power lines or other ob-
structions before attempting operation of
LHS. LHS reaches a height of 22 ft 2 in. (6.7
m) and could contact power lines. Failure to
comply may result in serious injury or death
to personnel.
NOTE
Perform Operator's Before PMCS checks if:
You are assigned operator but have not
operated machine since last PMCS was
performed.
You are operating machine for first time.
Lubrication order is to be used in
conjunction with PMCS.

Start vehicle. Refer to TM 9-2320-425-10 or TM
9-2320-435-10.

Load Handling
Check for proper operation of LHS MODE SELECT
LHS will not operate.

Controls
Verify by placing LHS MODE SELECT switch (Figure 1,
Item 1) in AUTO position.
