WARNING
Ensure all appropriate bridge bay latches are hooked. Failure to comply may result in serious
injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Interior bay has four foldlock latches, two at each end; ramp bay has two foldlock latches
at one end only.
Interior bay has two travel latches, one at each end; ramp bay has one travel latch at one
end only.

Interior bay: release front and rear foldlock latches (Figure 7, Item 16) and travel latch (Figure 7, Item 17) at
rear of bridge bay (Figure 7, Item 18).

Ramp bay: release two foldlock latches (Figure 7, Item 16) at front of bridge bay (Figure 7, Item 18).
CAUTION
If BAP front pin lock assemblies cannot be unlocked, use remote controls to maneuver LHS
hook arm to move the load slightly to free the lock. Failure to comply may result in damage
to equipment.

Release curb-side and road-side BAP front pin lock assemblies (Figure 8, Item 19). Pull front pin lock assembly
(Figure 8, Item 19) out while pushing latch lever pin (Figure 8, Item 20) down until it rests at top of vertical slot
(Figure 8, Item 21).
