Failure to re-stow the hook arm could result in loss of lubrication to the winch. Failure to
comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel and damage to equipment.

Position HOOK ARM switch (Figure 14, Item 29) to LOAD and release when hook arm is fully stowed.
CAUTION
While maneuvering vehicle in the immediate vicinity of the loading or unloading site, LHS
MODE SELECT switch may be in any setting. However, LHS MODE SELECT switch must
be set to OFF prior to road travel. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.

Turn LHS MODE switch (Figure 15, Item 7) to OFF.
