Set transmission range selector (Figure 8, Item 20) to N (neutral).
12.
Turn LHS MODE SELECT switch (Figure 8, Item 21) to AUTO.
CAUTION
Do not set PTO ENGAGE switch to ON with HIGH IDLE switch ON. Engaging the PTO
with HIGH IDLE switch ON may result in sudden application of hydraulic pressure to the
LHS. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
PTO ENGAGE switch must be positioned OFF before road transport. Failure to comply
may result in damage to equipment.
13.
Set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 8, Item 22) to ON position. Indicator light (Figure 8, Item 23) will illuminate.
WARNING
Trailer wheels must be chocked during transfer operations. Failure to comply may result in
serious injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
If transload rollers roll over lifting eyes, damage to the BAP could occur. Failure to comply
may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
The amount of time it takes to load and unload is controlled by engine speed. To reduce
loading and unloading times, engine speed can be increased to approximately 1200 rpm by
engaging HIGH IDLE switch.

Move joystick (Figure 8, Item 24) to UNLOAD until both transload rollers (Figure 8, Item 10) contact trailer
(Figure 8, Item 25). Ensure transload rollers (Figure 8, Item 10) clear the top of trailer lifting eyes (Figure 8,
Item 26).

Release joystick (Figure 8, Item 24).
16.
Ensure trailer guides (Figure 8, Item 27) are between transload rollers (Figure 8, Item 10).
NOTE
If trailer guides are not between transload rollers, perform Step (17). If trailer guides are
aligned, proceed to Step (18).
17.
If trailer guides (Figure 8, Item 27) are not between transload rollers (Figure 8, Item 10):
a.
Move joystick (Figure 8, Item 24) to LOAD.
b.
When the BAP is fully reloaded, release joystick (Figure 8, Item 24). Reposition vehicle to line up with
trailer.
c.
Repeat Steps (9) through (16).
18.
Set HIGH IDLE switch (Figure 8, Item 28) to ON position.
19.
Move joystick (Figure 8, Item 24) to UNLOAD until BAP front end fully contacts trailer (Figure 8, Item 25).
20.
Release joystick (Figure 8, Item 24).
