Secure winch frame to the BAP. Ensure two winch frame locking levers (Figure 3, Item 6) are in the up position.
If locking levers (Figure 3, Item 6) are not up:

Lock Winch Frame to BAP.
a.
Remove lockpin (Figure 3, Item 7) from each locking lever (Figure 3, Item 6).
b.
Swing locking lever (Figure 3, Item 6) to the up position.
c.
Insert lockpin (Figure 3, Item 7) into locking lever (Figure 3, Item 6).
