a.
Remove lockpin (Figure 6, Item 11) from transload roller (Figure 6, Item 10), and swing transload roller
(Figure 6, Item 10) up. Stow retainer bar (Figure 6, Item 12) under BAP frame (Figure 6, Item 13). Install
lockpin (Figure 6, Item 11) in stowed position on transload roller (Figure 6, Item 10).
b.
Turn hand pump selector valve lever (Figure 6, Item 14) to transload position (down). Pump handle
(Figure 6, Item 15) until both curb-side and road-side extension cylinders (Figure 6, Item 16) are fully
extended.
CAUTION
Both trailer bumper points must be under vehicle bump plate, and at least one trailer bumper
point must contact bump plate. Trailer bumper point not contacting vehicle bumper stop
cannot exceed 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) or the BAP will miss main rail guides. Failure to comply may
result in damage to equipment.

Back up vehicle so trailer bumper points (Figure 7, Item 17) are under flange and contact bump plate (Figure
7, Item 18).
