Engine speed must be at idle before using hydraulic selector switch. Failure to comply may

Turn hydraulic selector switch (Figure 10, Item 12) to OFF.

On operable vehicle, set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 10, Item 10) to OFF position. Indicator light (Figure 10,
Item 11) will go out.
19.
Shut off engine on operable vehicle. Refer to TM 9-2320-435-10 or TM 9-2320-425-10.
20.
On disabled vehicle, turn ENGINE switch (Figure 10, Item 13) to OFF.
WARNING
Hydraulic fluid is under great pressure. Engines on both vehicles must be shut off while
disconnecting hydraulic lines. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
To prevent hydraulic contamination, keep hydraulic quick disconnects clean. Failure to
comply may result in damage to hydraulic system.
NOTE
Quick disconnects are located on the back of the LHS box.
21.
Disconnect male end of first slave hose (Figure 11, Item 6) from supply hose (Figure 11, Item 2) of operable
vehicle.
