Connect male end of first slave hose (Figure 4, Item 6) to supply hose (Figure 4, Item 2) of operable vehicle.

Connect female end of first slave hose (Figure 4, Item 6) to supply tube (Figure 4, Item 7) mounted on back
of LHS control box (Figure 4, Item 1) of disabled vehicle.
8.
Connect female end of second slave hose (Figure 4, Item 8) to return hose (Figure 4, Item 3) of operable
vehicle.
9.
Connect male end of second slave hose (Figure 4, Item 8) to return tube (Figure 4, Item 9) mounted on back
of LHS control box (Figure 4, Item 1) of disabled vehicle.
10.
Start engine of operable vehicle. Refer to TM 9-2320-435-10 or TM 9-2320-425-10.
CAUTION
Do not position PTO ENGAGE switch to ON with HIGH IDLE switch ON. Engaging the
PTO with HIGH IDLE switch ON may result in sudden application of hydraulic pressure
to the LHS. Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
PTO ENGAGE switch must be positioned OFF before road transport. Failure to comply
may result in damage to equipment.
11.
Set PTO ENGAGE switch (Figure 5, Item 10) to ON position. Indicator light (Figure 5, Item 11) will illuminate.
