INSTALLATION
WARNING
A suitable lifting device is required for removing or installing the Bridge Adapter Pallet catwalk
because each large catwalk section weighs approximately 160 pounds (72.6 kg) and each
small catwalk section weighs approximately 68 pounds (30.8 kg). Failure to comply may result
in serious injury or death to personnel.
1.
With the aid of an assistant, install section of catwalk (Figure 5, Item 1) on the BAP.

Tube Support Installation.
NOTE
Perform Steps (2) through (8) if installing rear road-side section of catwalk. Perform Step (3)
only if installing front section of catwalk.
2.
Align holes in ends of tube support (Figure 5, Item 6) and mounting holes in catwalk (Figure 5, Item 1).
NOTE
Tube support is found only on rear sections of catwalk.
3.
Install screw (Figure 5, Item 18), locknut (Figure 5, Item 19), and tube support (Figure 5, Item 6) on catwalk
(Figure 5, Item 1) and frame (Figure 5, Item 10).
