CORRECTIVE ACTION - Continued
a.
If hydraulic hoses, lines, or fittings are leaking or damaged, tighten fittings and replace
damaged hoses or lines. (WP 0055)
b.
If hydraulic hoses, lines, or fittings are not leaking or damaged, proceed to next Malfunction.
MALFUNCTION
Winch Operates from one Side of Vehicle but not Other.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
The following procedures will determine if fault is located in remote control linking
harness or parts of remote control circuit common to both sides of vehicle.
1.
Attempt to operate winch with remote control unit at left remote location (connector J8A) (Figure
3). (WP 0007) Note results.

2.
Attempt to operate winch with remote control unit at right remote location (connector J8B) (Figure
3). Note results.
a.
If winch operates from one side of vehicle but not other and vehicle is Model A, proceed to
Malfunction Remote Linking Harness Has Open Circuit On Side That Does Not Operate
(Model A Only).
b.
If winch operates from one side of vehicle but not other and vehicle is Model B, proceed to
Malfunction Cab Interface Wiring Harness Is Faulty (Model B Only).
c.
If winch does not operate from either side, proceed to next Malfunction.
MALFUNCTION
Remote Control Unit is Faulty.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Disconnect remote control cable from remote control unit (Figure 4).
