CORRECTIVE ACTION - Continued
7.
Place negative (-) probe of multimeter on terminal J of digital controller wiring harness connector
J8A (LH) or J8B (RH) (Figure 6).
8.
Place positive (+) probe of multimeter on position 23 of main frame junction box (Figure 7). Check
multimeter for continuity.
9.
Place negative (-) probe of multimeter on terminal E of digital controller wiring harness connector
J8A (LH) or J8B (RH) (Figure 6).
10.
Place positive (+) probe of multimeter on position 35 of main frame junction box (Figure 7). Check
multimeter for continuity.
a.
If continuity is not present for one or all readings, replace faulty remote linking wiring harness.
Refer to TM 9-2320-435-10 or TM 9-2320-425-10.
b.
If continuity is present for all readings, proceed to next Malfunction.
MALFUNCTION
Remote Linking Harness has Short to Ground on Side that does not Operate (Model A Only).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
CAUTION
Electrical power must be shut OFF from circuit before continuity can be checked.
Failure to comply with this caution may result in damage to test equipment or
electrical system.
1.
Set multimeter to ohms position.
2.
Place negative (-) probe of multimeter on known good ground.
NOTE
Any reading besides infinity indicates a grounded wire.
3.
Place positive (+) probe of multimeter to each terminal on connector J8A (LH) or J8B (RH)
(Figure 8). Check for continuity between each terminal and known good ground.
