WARNING
The winch assembly without cable installed weighs approximately 350 pounds (158.9 kg).
Winch must be secured by a suitable lifting device before removing or installing mounting
hardware. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
If winch cable had to be cut to remove winch assembly in Step (1), manually unwind winch
cable from winch drum, then remove winch cable from winch drum.

Attach lifting device to winch assembly (Figure 4, Item 29) and take up slack so winch will not fall out of position
when mounting hardware is removed.
9.
Remove four bolts (Figure 5, Item 30), lockwashers (Figure 5, Item 31), and nuts (Figure 5, Item 32) from base
of winch assembly (Figure 5, Item 29). Discard lockwashers. Remove winch assembly (Figure 5, Item 29) from
winch frame (Figure 5, Item 15).
