MALFUNCTION
Air Line Between BAP Air Supply Hose and Control Valve is Faulty.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Control valve will not operate without sufficient air pressure.
1.
Remove two screws and lockwashers from bracket and control valve (Figure 2). Discard
lockwashers.

Remove two screws and lockwashers from bracket (Figure 2). Discard lockwashers.
3.
Remove two screws, lockwashers, nuts, lanyard, and bracket from frame (Figure 2).
4.
Remove air line fitting from elbow on inlet port of control valve and check for air pressure at end
of air line (Figure 2).
a.
If very little or no air pressure is present, perform the following:
(1)
Replace air line between BAP air supply hose and control valve. (WP 0064)
(2)
Install fitting on elbow on inlet port of control valve (Figure 2).
(3)
Install bracket on control valve with two screws and lockwashers (Figure 2).
(4)
Install two screws and lockwashers on bracket and control valve (Figure 2).
(5)
Install lanyard, two screws, lockwashers, and nuts on bracket (Figure 2).
(6)
Verify problem is corrected.
b.
If steady air pressure is present, install fitting on elbow on inlet port of control valve
(Figure 2) and proceed to next Malfunction.
