REMOVAL
NOTE
This task is for older model BAPs only, new model BAPs not equipped with rear bumper
assembly. Repair and/or replacement is at the discretion of the Unit Commander.
This task can be used for the road-side, curb-side, or middle roller bumpers. The middle
roller bumpers are shown.
1.
Remove cotter pin (Figure 1, Item 1) from bumper shaft (Figure 1, Item 2). Discard cotter pin.

Remove bumper shaft (Figure 1, Item 2) and three roller bumpers (Figure 1, Item 3) from BAP frame (Figure
1, Item 4).
