Install final drive planetary gear (Figure 10, Item 31) in final housing (Figure 10, Item 26).
3.
Install final sungear shaft (Figure 10, Item 30) in final drive planetary gear (Figure 10, Item 31), with longer
splined end first, ensuring final sungear shaft (Figure 10, Item 30) engages with final drive planetary gear
(Figure 10, Item 31).
4.
Install sungear stopper (Figure 10, Item 29), stopper (Figure 10, Item 28), and O-ring (Figure 10, Item 27) on
end cover (Figure 10, Item 25).
NOTE
When installing end cover, be sure to align marks previously made during removal.
5.
Install end cover (Figure 10, Item 25) on final housing (Figure 10, Item 26).
WARNING
Wear safety goggles and use care when installing cover retainer. It is under spring tension
and can act as a projectile when released. Failure to comply may result in serious injury or
death to personnel.
6.
Install cover retainer (Figure 10, Item 24) on end cover (Figure 10, Item 25). Ensure lip end of retainer aligns
with nail hole at top of final housing (Figure 10, Item 26).
