Remove oil seal (Figure 6, Item 47) from final housing (Figure 6, Item 26). Discard oil seal.
NOTE
Perform Step (9) only if bearing is damaged.

Remove bearing (Figure 6, Item 48) from final housing (Figure 6, Item 26).

CLEANING
1.
Refer to General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0038) for general cleaning instructions.
2.
Lubricate parts in accordance with Lubrication Instructions (WP 0070).

INSPECTION
1.
Refer to General Maintenance Instructions (WP 0038) for general inspection instructions.
2.
Check the outside diameters of the piston and the inside diameters of the brake housing for surface scratches
due to contaminated hydraulic fluid. If there is any evidence of damage, polish piston and brake housing with
fine emery cloth.

CABLE DRUM ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION
1.
Install oil seal (Figure 7, Item 47) on final housing (Figure 7, Item 26) so oil seal (Figure 7, Item 47) is flush
with final housing (Figure 7, Item 26) rim.
